A fast-growing commercial design and landscape maintenance company seeks a high-impact Regional Manager to drive growth, streamline operations, and lead multiple branches across multiple markets. Ideal candidates are seasoned executives with a passion for building strong leaders and teams, scaling operations and expanding market presence.
The Regional Manager will oversee branch operations with full accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. By executing strategic and tactical plans and mentoring Branch Managers, this leader will optimize labor efficiency, elevate customer service, and achieve aggressive growth targets measured by KPIs and regional performance.
Multi-Site Operational Leadership
- Drive operational excellence and consistency across all regional branches
- Establish and monitor standards for scheduling, project execution, and service delivery
- Benchmark KPIs to identify best practices and performance gaps
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
- Implement scalable systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Lead cross-market operations to align customer care, safety, and production tools.
Client Relations & Regional Business Development
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key regional accounts
- Oversee major client portfolios and ensure seamless cross-branch service delivery
- Lead regional business development strategy and support estimating initiatives
- Resolve client issues and ensure consistent satisfaction
- Drive retention and expansion of high-value accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
Leadership, Talent & Branch Performance
- Lead, coach, and empower Branch Managers and their teams to drive accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
- Monitor branch performance, provide targeted coaching, allocate resources to maximize regional output
- Identify and mentor emerging leaders through succession planning and career development
- Conduct performance reviews and implement regional talent development and retention strategies
- Facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across branches through regular meetings and planning sessions
- Ensure teams have the tools, training and support needed to succeed
- Uphold rigorous safety standards and ensure adherence to SOPs and reporting protocols
Financial Management & Strategic Planning
- Financial accountability and full P&L ownership for the region
- Consolidate and analyze budgets, revenue, and profitability across branches
- Drive margin improvement and cost optimization initiatives
- Lead strategic planning efforts and contribute to company-wide growth strategies
- Identify acquisition opportunities and lead integration strategies
- Deliver EBITDA targets and ensure branches meet KPI scorecard benchmarks.
Ideal Candidate Profil
- Minimum 7-10+ years of visionary leadership in commercial landscaping, with a proven success in multi-site operations and service division management along with strong financial acumen
- Strategic thinker balancing vision and execution with ability to develop and coach management teams
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), landscaping certifications and knowledge of California markets preferred.
