A large, growth-oriented electrical contractor is hiring a senior operations leader who will own day-to-day execution, build high-performing PM teams, and deliver disciplined project outcomes across complex, schedule-driven work.
Position Snapshot
Portfolio: Commercial, multifamily, and mission-critical/data-driven projects; multi-project delivery.
Team: Leads project management staff, field/site teams, and office support; accountable for division results and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own division performance: strategy, planning, budgeting, staffing, and KPIs (safety, schedule, quality, profits).
- Lead the project lifecycle from beginning through closeout including schedules, quality, risk management, and budget.
- Provide your expertise to lead, develop and support your project teams to resolve challenges.
- Be the senior point of contact for clients/partners who communicates proactively and resolves issues quickly.
- Standardize best practices and adopt tools/innovation that improve predictability, productivity, and reporting.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategy, staffing, and market growth execution.
- Stay ahead of the industry by integrating new technologies into the work flow.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years progressive experience in electrical construction with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated track record of managing substantial revenue portfolios, typically at least $30M annually, with oversight of complex, multi-project operations.
- Proven ability to build and develop high performing project management teams while fostering accountability, customer-centricity, and consistent execution in a fast paced environment.
- Strong business acumen with executive-level problem solving skills, adept at prioritizing competing demands and making sound decisions under pressure
