Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business by identifying new customers and their needs, and then demonstrate your landscape arbor and sales expertise by preparing effective proposals and estimates.
  • Retain and grow relationships with existing and previous customers, ensuring high customer satisfaction, retention, and increased sales.
  • Demonstrate your expertise of sales, arbor health, care and removal, the marketplace, customer needs, new opportunities, pricing, and competitors.
  • Design and execute business development, sales, and marketing programs to drive growth.
  • Leverage technology to track and manage sales activities, forecasts, prospects, customers, sales programs, and results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams by providing expertise, training, and technical assistance.
  • Participate in external sales and marketing outreach efforts to generate qualified sales leads.
  • Analyze and stay ahead of the market, trends, customer needs, competitors, and pricing.
  • Demonstrate, communicate and promote customer service, best practices, accountability, integrity, ethics, performance, growth, profitability, corporate goals, culture and the value of a workforce.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience in arboriculture, horticulture, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in tree health care services, including maintenance, removal, and pest management.
  • Track record of increasing demand, revenue, and profitability through innovative and effective technically supported sales strategies using best practices and the latest technology.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
  • Collaborative, ethical, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.
