  • Create and execute strategic and tactical marketing and business development plans that are creative, and original that achieve objectives, goals, and KPIs.
  • Design content and distribution of all marketing with communications, campaigns, materials, and digital collateral to reach market segments with creative, fresh messaging and the latest channels to increase customer interest and new business.
  • Continuous networking to develop and expand your contacts and prospects to increase new business.
  • Understand how the market segment receives and responds to marketing and using all available channels, cutting-edge technology, and social media that drives and closes new business.
  • Grow this company by identifying target prospects, target markets, and target geographies and determining the growth, location, and direction.
  • Complete the entire business development sales cycle from prospect to successful bid/finalized contracts to achieve aggressive goals.
  • Maximize and strengthen relationships with existing customers and markets to increase sales.
  • Research, understand, and stay ahead of the market, customers, industry, and competitors with early identification of sales opportunities and recommended sales strategies.
  • Create a powerful, highly collaborative business development culture and share your passion for marketing, networking, developing business, customer relationships, sales, opportunities, bids, pricing, customer needs, and how to effectively meet those needs with the company’s services by working with top management and regions including the seamless transition of accounts to operations.
  • Manage all financial aspects including forecasting, budgets, and expenses.

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience and proven track record of success in marketing and new business development with measurable, aggressive results in creative marketing, networking, and increasing business with existing customers and relationships with key decision-makers in the arbor industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of the arbor industry.
  • Ability to visit clients to establish and maintain relationships with travel as needed from 30-50%.
