Area Sales Manager – Facility Services

As the Sales Manager of this region, you will lead this company to new levels of sales, revenue, market share and new business in the janitorial facilities services market.

  • Create, formalize and execute an effective strategic and tactical sales plan that develops new business, new relationships with decision makers and new markets that meets or exceed established goals and key performance indicators.
  • Complete and continuously improve the entire sales cycle beginning with prospecting and cold calling through to negotiation, pricing and finalized contracts with accurate scope of work achieving increased overall sales.
  • Maximize and deepen relationships with existing customers and markets to expand sales, achieve prompt resolution to customer complaints and ensure retention and high customer satisfaction
  • Research, understand and stay ahead of the market, customers, industry and competitors with early identification and recommended sales strategies and a consultative sales process that incorporates customer needs, trends, opportunities and business acumen.
  • Manage, train and motivate your team to maximize their contribution, achieve high performance and continuously achieve excellence in sales and customer relations.
  • Collaborate with top management and other key internal functional areas lending your expertise on competitors, customer needs, trends, sales data, business opportunities, pricing and content for proposals, presentations and bids as well as successful transitions of new accounts to operations.
  • Manage all financial aspects including forecasting, budgets, and expenses.
  • Effectively use cutting edge technology for client presentations including webinars and internal reporting.

 
Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a successful regional sales manager with measurable, aggressive results in the janitorial facilities management industry. A four-year degree preferred.
  • A proven successful track record of increasing customer base, market share, key accounts, sales, revenue, and profits.
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication, persuasive, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
  • Decisive, creative, organized, detail oriented, independent yet collaborative.
