Chief Operating Officer - Commercial Landscape Maintenance

  • Set the strategy and tactics and then manage every aspect of operations, people, and projects for high performance, optimized field operations, quality, customer satisfaction, customer retention, streamlined workflows, improved resource allocation, reduced waste, and enhanced project execution.
  • Lead by example and continually improve operations, technology, customer relations, processes, efficiencies, KPIs, performance, profitability, revenue, and training for excellence.
  • Strategically develop operations by establishing and executing a growth plan that implements a repeatable, sustainable operational structure and excellence.

Leadership Hire, train, retain, mentor, and energize each person to form high-performing, high morale, result-oriented teams with an ownership mentality focused on accountability and exceeding KPIs for safety, efficiency, productivity, profitability, growth, and customer satisfaction while delivering high-quality services.

  • Communicate and collaborate with senior management and other departments for strategic decisions including corporate strategic plans, organic growth, high-performing teams across departments, and foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement the EOS framework throughout the organization and ensure alignment with the EOS principles.
  • Implement feedback mechanisms to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Financial Oversight: Manage all financial aspects including estimates, P&L, budgets, reports, schedules, materials, labor, administration, purchasing, equipment, tracking performance, and implementing corrective action to increase revenue, growth, and profitability.

  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage budgets and cost controls ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Implement cost-effective measures to enhance resource utilization and maximize profitability.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years in senior leadership within landscape maintenance or related industry.
  • Preferred expertise in implementing EOS in a similar organization.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
