  • Roll up your sleeves and apply your sales and technical knowledge to close complex contracts and maintain successful relationships with decision-makers and influencers throughout the long sales cycle until the close of a profitable contract and transition to operations for performance.
  • Strengthen and deepen working relationships as a valued business partner, creating demand for additional services and renewals with existing clients including large public agencies.
  • Apply your intense drive to maintaining a robust pipeline with daily prospecting and identifying long-term projects for internal bidding/RFP/estimating.
  • After the bid/RFP/estimate is submitted, apply your extreme organizational skills to track project information.
  • Create plans and programs to be a high-performance aggressive sales Hunter who creates relationships, and maintains a high level and high touch communications, persistently and proactively, with all decision makers and influencers throughout the long sales cycle.
  • Relentlessly drive to consistently meet or exceed KPIs, goals, and benchmarks by managing and completing the sales cycle effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal senior management and departments including estimating and field operations to ensure accurate and profitable bids and optimal timing for performance.
  • Represent and advance the company brand through website and social media upgrades, messaging, and content.
  • Effective use of cutting-edge technology for sales and lead tracking including Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain current, accurate information in the company’s CRM regarding the pipeline, the status of prospects, client communications, contract scope, and estimates along with meaningful periodic reports.
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate, communicate, and promote customer service, best practices, accountability, integrity, ethics, performance, growth, profitability, corporate goals, corporate culture and the value of the workforce
  • Stay current on construction-related trends and developments, such as methods of operation, procedures, and swift changes in the industry.


At least 5 years of successful Sales Hunter experience with high energy, measurable, aggressive results with long sales cycles for large projects and a track record of successfully maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, creating meaningful relationships, increasing sales, and closing profitable contracts for the landscape construction industry in private and public works. A four-year technical degree is preferred.
