10 years as in-house legal counsel. able to manage a team of 5. We prefer experience in Software companies but it is not must.

• Exposure to corporate transactions like Merger/ Acquisition / Joint Venture / Partnership Alliances.
• Exposure to international corporate matters.
• Draft contracts appropriate to the needs, as required. (Primarily commercial contracts related to software services and licensing)
• Drive the negotiation of legal terms in contracts. Guide the business team on the impact of accepting legalese and help facilitate a sound business decision
• Continuously drive process improvements to ensure that the contracting cycle times are optimized
• Sound understanding of laws - contract/corporate
• Ability to understand the internal business processes and bring the business perspective in the contracts.
• Ability to interpret legal language and forsee possible outcomes of the contract
• Strong Negotiation Skills, Eye for detail, Excellent Communication Skills, Ability to work with a team, Assertiveness |
